Farewell to Pastor Nilton and Family

One more missionary family is leaving East Timor in the process of transition to the national leadership. Pastor Nilton spent twelve years of a fruitful work here in this country. Some of his spiritual children are now pastors and evangelists. As a coordinator pastor, he oversaw three pastors and four churches in the East part of the country. May God reward him and his family for all the work done. A Timorese pastor, Julio Cuca, replaced him as the pastor of the church of Baucau and the coordinator pastor of the East area. Praise the Lord that He is raising national leadership. May the nationals do a greater and more impacting work than the missionaries, let it be the prayers of us all.

  

VII National Youth Congress

Between 14 and 16 of August, about 280 youth from all the 13 Districts of Timor Leste gathered in the Visão Cristã church in Baucau for the VII National Youth Congress, an annual event whose goal is to strength the faith of christian youth of Timor Leste. This time we focused on the theme "We are the generation that will be taken to heaven". More than ten youth accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
